Index to Foreign Legal Periodicals: Using the Search Bar

Part Two in a Four part Series.

One of the most useful search tools on the Index to Foreign Legal Periodicals (IFLP) is the search bar. With the multiple search options, a researcher can readily and easily limit the scope of the contents. The subparts of these different tabs are organized in a user friendly manner. For example, most of the tabs have the contents organized in alphabetical order.

The Subjects tab allows a user to search various subject areas based on the first letter of the subject title.

The Publication Title tab allows researchers to search for various periodical, journals, or essay collections based on the first letter of the publication title.

Finally, the Print Edition tab allows a researcher to search through the book form of the IFLP online. The editions include everything from 1960-2015.

Once a particular year is selected, the table of contents tab on the left provides for easy navigation.
